RSGB Contest Results 4th 144MHz Backpackers 2024

4th Backpackers Contest 2024

20 logs were received including one checklog for this, the penultimate event in the series.  Entrants reported generally good weather to be out and about, and most were rewarded with continental ODX. There was participation from France (7 stations), Netherlands, Germany and Denmark (one apiece) with contributions from Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Ireland as well.

The tables have a different look to them this month with both section leaders taking a break, and 'hats off' to Darrell, 2E0VCC/P who comfortably made the runner up spot in the Hilltoppers section with his first entry of the season.  Congratulations to all the certificate winners.

The final event on September 8th from 1100 UTC will see the second and third podium places decided and, particularly in the Backpackers section, it's still all to play for.
