RSGB Contest Results 4th 144MHz Backpackers 2017

Back to UK normal for the weather with thunderstorms, static rain, high winds and sunshine all in the same afternoon.

Well done to GW1YBB/P operated by Steve G1YBB and Paul G1YFC on winning the 5B section.  Second place in this section for Andrew G4XZL/P back on the edge of the Brecon Beacons

In the Hilltoppers 25H section Paul G8BGV/P from Essex came top with Steve G0EAK/P in second place from Worksop.

Not so many continentals this time round but also not the big signals from other contests.

The last installment for 2017 takes place on Sunday 3rd September and coincides with the RSGB 2m Trophy and IARU R1 2m contests so plenty of big EU stations should be available to work.
