RSGB Contest Results 70MHz AFS Contest 2026
v4.191 by G4CLA

Entry levels for the 70MHz AFS contest continue to improve and were up again compared to the previous year, although the number of active stations was slightly down.

The scores at the top of the Single Operator Fixed (SF) section are very close this year. The top two places from 2025 swapped over, with Fred (G4BWP) finishing just ahead of last year's winner, Dave (G7RAU). G4LIP and G4ODA followed closely behind, only a few hundred points off the lead.

In the Open Section, Colin (G4CWH/P) was once again at the top of the table, with Nick (M1DDD/P) in second place.

In the Club Sections, the Camb-Hams team topped the Local Clubs table again, securing a much larger margin this year, while Spalding & DARS took second place. In the General Clubs section, Addiscombe Club A finished well ahead of the field with their second team Addiscombe Club B in second place.

A number of clubs manged to encourage enough members to take part to be able to form a second team, including Addiscombe (7) Sheffield & DWS (7), Parallel Lines CG (5), Camb-Hans (5) and Isle of Man ARS (5).

This is the first contest in the 2026/27 Super League, a link to those results is given below.

Congratulations to all certificate winners.
