SHF UKAC October 2014
The highest number of entries yet were received for 2.3GHz in this session, with some new callsigns appearing in the entry list. From the November session onwards contacts made in the new band segment from 2300 to 2302MHz may also be claimed for points, but if a station is worked in both old and new segments, only the first QSO can be claimed.
Stations wishing to take part in the 2.3GHz events are reminded that they must register their station with Ofcom by emailing pssramateurs@ofcom.org.uk providing the following information:
1. Name
2. Address (and location of use)
3. Call sign
4. Location of use
5. Frequency range uses
6. Type of use
7. Regularity of use (e.g. evenings and weekends; 24/7; occasional)
8. Transmit power (ie. EIRP)
The final session of the SHF UKAC for 2014 takes place on Tuesday 25th November from 20:00 to 22:30 local time.
