RSGB Contest Results SHF UKAC 2023
v4.158 by G4CLA

SHF UKAC 2023

Congratulations to Pete G4CLA who retains the G3UVR Trophy for the fourth year in succession as overall winner in the individual results. Runner up was Keith G4ODA.

The award for the station providing the 'Best DX' for highest number of entrants goes to F1BHL/P

Annual Summary

73 stations entered on 2.3GHz this year (up 1), 3.4GHz grew slightly with 36 (up 2). 5.7GHz increased from 25 to 30 entries this year, with Hereford ARS fielding an impressive 12 stations. Almost all the entries on 5.7GHz came from members of Hereford, Parallel Lines, or Northern Fells groups. 10GHz decreased a little with 38 entries, down from 40.

Relatively few comments have been received this year, the most common gripe is that there is not enough time to work everyone with four bands to juggle.

Stations wishing to take part in the 2.3GHz events are reminded that they must register their station with Ofcom, and also hold the relevant notice of variation if they wish to use 2300-2302MHz.

Congratulations to the winners and runners up in all the sections, who will receive certificates.

The first session of the SHF UKAC for 2024 takes place on Tuesday 23rd January from 19:30 to 22:30 local time.
