Changes to SHF UKACs for the rest of 2014 |
CHANGES TO SHF UKACs FOR THE REST OF 2014 This special issue of the CC Newsletter follows on from the previous special issue dated 19 April and the holding statement in the May issue relating to the recent OFCOM review of amateur access to the 2.3GHz and 3.4GHz bands. It provides a statement of the necessary changes to the SHF UKACs for the rest of 2014.
After further feedback on possible date / time changes to avoid potential interference to the primary user on 2.3GHz, it
has been decided to: The times for 2.3GHz will be 2130 - 2330 BST for the months of May, June and July, reverting to 2000 - 2230 clock time from August onwards. Timings for the other bands will remain as they were, running 2000 - 2230 clock time
Stations wishing to take part in the 2.3GHz events are reminded that they must register their station with Ofcom by
e-mailing pssramateurs@ofcom.org.uk providing the following information:
