G4VXE Managed to eat dinner, sort out PTA minutes and almost operate. You wouldn't do that on CW or SSB.

    G8MKO PROPAGATION LESS FAVOURABLE

M0CMQ Pleased to be working PSK 31 again, condx good and quite a few G/M stations.

M0DEY Hard work. First time on Data Mode!

M0PTR I struggled, with my first try at a DATA modes contest.

M1SMH Conitions good in London. Think an article in use of rtty software and buffers is called for urgently in Radcom. Else a rather large pointer to rttycontesting.com in all publicity for the rtty legs.

    SOAPBOX:

2E0KOP First data contest. Very frustrating with the bandwidth of some stations vy wide.

G0AOJ The band seemed very crowded and I had a job getting logged on to a station.

G0JLF Part time entry due to domestic duties

G0KPZ Band conditions good.scored more than last time

G0MTN A better event for me this month

G0RAF Not a bad contest - but the Blind were leading the Blind

G0VDZ Must put up a decent aerial

G2DWB I think the scoring for the data contests needs changing. Because PSK is a slower mode than RTTY there should be extra points for PSK QSOs

G3GLL I'll get the hang of it one day I hope!!

G3KKQ More Activity than last time

G3KNU Conditions keep getting better. Lots of activity.

G3LDI Good to see more activity, wish I could say the same about our Club!!!!

G3LHJ Lots of activity, seems to grow as the weeks go by, no gremlins this time

G3ORY Gripe 1: 2 or 3 stations could do well to add 'QRL? DE(own call)' to their macros.
Gripe 2: Slick operating is all very well but to send the report and serial once only with virtually no preamble gives little chance of getting SYNC at the RX

    G3RSD MY BEST EFFORT YET

G3TKF My best data so far

G3TXF Sorry, but I just haven't got the hang of this RTTY stuff - I barely decoded any stations during the entire 90 minutes - but those that I did, I was able to work. Must be something fundamentally wrong either with my bodge RTTY set-up or with my head. RY RY RY Chaps!

G3UFY Data is not like CW or SSB! The need for speed is all very well, but sending your call once only is a recipe for disaster ... and try adding "RYRY" to the beginning of each macro, to let the receiver synchronise properly.

G3VIP Still getting to grips with data

G3VQO difficult conditions with deep QSB at times - many stations heard once, never to be found again!!!

G3WRR The good news is that I had 4 times as many QSOs as last time. The bad news is that I only had 4 QSOs this time. Perhaps I should stick to CW...Conditions for inter G QSOs seemed much better this data session than last.

G3WVG These data contests should be shorter, by about 90 minutes.

    G3XSV Reasonable Condx this time.

    G3YAJ First attempt!!!!

G3YEC FIRST TIME SINCE 1970 I HAVE USED RTTY AS AN AMATEUR. SET UP HERE NEEDS LOOKING AT TO GET IT RIGHT. SLIGHT FADING FIRST HOUR. SOME SIGNALS VERY LOUD.

G3YHV Missed first half hour being a taxi for the kids !

G3ZBE I had finger trouble which meant I got stuck in a loop and sent invalid QSO B4's to some stations. I will try to sort myself out before the next session; I'm a slow learner!

    G4FPH Activity down tonight?

G4MRS (Op G0WCW) Condtions better than earlier in the year. Plenty of stations to work, possibly too many! Looking forward to April.

G4OGB Took a while to get going, things just picking up when the bell rang!!

G4OIG Busy session. Hoping to do better next time.
