full! Good fun just need to sort out the Freeview TVI
on 8 watts... Mad First time use of SD seems easy.

    G6UBM
    noisey had difficulty finding stations

    G7HCL
Rubbish conditions must have put people off.

    GM3ZBE
Good propagation to "G" for 30 mins then it died!
Interesting to work many of the regulars from my new Qth.

    GU4WTN
    That was painful!

    GW0ETF
The conditions won in the end....!

    GW3KDB
    T3930 + doublet at 40'

    GW4BLE
Reminder to all - this isn't AFS; power MAXIUMUM is 100 watts.

Very noisy band conditions I stuggled with QRP.

    M0CES
worked all ops in my part of town then twiddled my
    thumbs hearing nothing

    M0CNP
VERY HIGH NOISE AND A MASSIVE SKIP DISTANCE MEANT VERY FEW
STATIONS AUDIBLE. EI3JE WAS AT TIMES 59+60! THINGS STARTED
TO IMPROVE AT 2120! A DISASTROUS START TO THE SEASON!

    M0CRY
    my first go had fun

    M0DIW
    AWFUL CONDITIONS

    M0FRS
    BAND VERY NOISY

    M0MCX
Scotland stormed in early. West Midlands stations found it hard with
Long skip, QRM & QSB. Seemed to get better last 10 mins. Always fun!

    M0MDF
What a lousy start to the competition. The band
was very noisy with lots of QRM and my 100 watts
was not enough to get through it all. Here's to
    the next one!

    M0PMZ
I had great fun. My dad M0PMZ was supervising me

    M0RNE
Lots of QRM - band very noisy

    SOAPBOX:

    2E0ATY
CONDITIONS NOT GOOD LETS HOPE FOR A BETTER SCORE NEXT TIME

    2E0BJM
Very hard to be heard with only 10 watts

    2E0LIB
Very noisy conditions struggled all the way

    2E0MJD
First contest of the season I have been able to do
condx lousy - worst score ever Looking forward to next
    contest hope condx better!

    2E0TLB
Very hard going but good fun.Nice to work GM and EI

    2E1GUA
It was good fun and I was leat on.
Thank to all that worked me.
the loging software is SD from EI5DI very good.

    2M0GPZ
Heard plenty of G's but they weren't hearing me.
Big sigs from Europe but not seemingly not interested.

    2M0IVG
    Quite a bit of QRM
    Found it easy to use

    2M0KDZ
Very hard work! All the propagation seemed to be one way. I could hear the English SOAPBOX: stations OK but they couldn't hear me. I could also hear F, DL, LX & LA stations (not in SOAPBOX: the contest) loud and clear

    EI3JE
Good Fun, propagation good from here for a change.
Very Persistant deliberate jamming has a pain.

    G0GDU
    FT1000 with W3DZZ @ 26ft - 100W
Condx very noisy - started slow and then went down hill

    G0IIQ
    Terrible conditions

    G0JLF
VERY NOISY! And Hard Work. Central UK stations weak

    G0KDS
    late starting early finishing

    G0KPZ
Very long skip. Scotland and Ireland were prominent
    Lots of noise

    G0KYS
Not many Gs audible at the start but I did get the odd
run going. I think the skip length was short enough
to give a slight advantage to us guys in the SW over
    the guys in the center!

    G0MTN
Propagation for the "thinking man" - Search and Pounce rules !

    G0RTN
Got on very late - found band noisy but alive when did

    G0VJG
    slow going

    G0VQR
Great fun. Though for the first 15 mins in the contest
a station was deliberately keying up his radio while I
was calling CQ. I managed to work a few stations over
the QRM. Eventually he gave up and left me in peace. I
think the secret is not to respond to the other station
and let him think he is wasting his time.
    Some times it works.

    G0VYR
Hard going at first - better towards the end.

    G0WLF
I used SD for logging - it's great.

    G0WWD
    Very hard going

    G1FON
MY ANTENNA & LOCATION JUST AREN'T UP TO CONTESTS

    G2BKZ
COMPUTER DISPLAY ON LAPTOP WENT U/S!!

    G3BJ
That was tough ! Very weak G's and big European QRM !

    G3GWB
Abysmal conditions! Skip very long and signals weak.

    G3HRH
    Heavy EU qrm
A good night for narrow brickwall filters
    Pity I don't have any
Upper band was better than the lower after 21.00

    G3KNU
Typical conditions for February - 'orrible
    Roll on the light evenings

    G3LDI
Dreadful conditions, fine for those in Ireland
    or Scotland!

    G3LHJ
What terrible condx - 95% EU & 5% G's only the big guns
/GM's could be heard down here in the SW except for the
    last half hour.

    G3LIK
Very difficult first hour due to long skp conditions.
Last half hour the skip changed and could actually
    hear the G stations.

    G3LZQ
What a drag hardest 90-mins ever.UK Signals were loudest during
    last 10-mins
    Yaesu FT1000MP 100w 80m Dipole @ 50FT

    G3NLY
    FT1000mp 10w. Inv. vee at 45' centre
Dire! but a mite better than the 24 last January.
Many quite strong stations were not even hearing me

    G3NPF
I approve of the reduced duration and the change of
timing after the clocks change. The QRM was as bad as
ever and I really don't know why we subject ourselves
to this brain-ache year after year!!!! In general
    the operating standards were good.

    G3OLB
    Transceiver TS850
Antenna - Inverted Vee Dipole at 80'
    What a racket!

    G3ORY
Unbelievable! Doing badly when condx rebounded and I
worked 25 stations in the last 10 minutes.

    G3RHH
Hard going due to heavy QRM

    G3RRL
VERY VERY NOISY & POOR SKIP FOR INTER G WORKING
    FIRST TIME USING SD !!
USING COMPUTER WILL BE OK WITH PRACTICE

    G3RWL
    Crap condx

    G3SVD
Whew! A difficult episode in this series of contests. For the first 30mins incredible noise and QRM
and almost impossible to work weaker stns. Things got a bit better after that but the only really
strong stns were from the continent. I did manage to hold a frequency throughout though and kept
a run going. Nevertheless it was fun and I finished with my head ringing from the qrm.

    G3SWC
What a noisy intoduction to this years club champs!!

    G3TBK
Awful condx, only those out on a limb appeared to have big scores
FT1000 at 100 watts, Antenna Dipole at 70 feet

    G3TKF
    Interesting quiet band !

    G3TXF
Quite a struggle for the first SSB CC of the year!
Amazing variations in signal strengths. Conditions
picked up in the last 20 minutes or so.

    G3VIP
    RIG FT301S 10W ANT 40 MTR LW
HIGH NOISE LEVEL - LONG SKIP NBG FOR QRP

    G3VQO
With foF2 down to 2.8 MHz before the contest, it was
always going to be difficult. After thirty minutes,
with a handful of locals and some GMs in the log, I
decided that watching "University Challenge" was a
    better use of my time!!!

    G3WVG
    TS930S..100W..Inverted Vee 60ft.

    G3WYW
Band very difficult for 1st 40 minutes but improved
towards the end. QRP much more difficult but pleased
    with result.

    G3WZT
SLOW START BUT GOT GOING IN THE END.

    G3YHV
Conditions very poor as expected !

    G3ZBU
Conditions very strange; Could not hear many stations

    G3ZGC
    Aweful conditions at the start.
    My frequency was stolen twice.

    G4ARN/P
    band conditions very poor

    G4BUO
Dreadful conditions. Had to work really hard for my 93 QSOs

    G4DBX
I don't think band conditions could be any worse, quite a challenge!

    G4DDX
long skip for most of contest Very noisy but still a
a few more points than last year

    G4EBK
Very poor cdnx for most of the contest
picked up in the last ten minutes but
too late to make any impression on the score.

    G4ELZ
Terrible local wide band noise 20 dB/S9 !!

    G4EOF
Lets look forward to some propergation next time!

    G4ERW
An enjoyable contests although high QRM levels and
generally weak UK stations made it hard going! I must
complete that K9AY switched loop for receive!
Big signals from EI DL etc.

    G4FKA
Welcome back to the CCs. First entry with new rig (IC-756 ProIII).
Haven't quite got the audio side right yet and still learning how
to drive the filters. Fun grappling with the conditions!

    G4FON
Appauling condx, the middle of England was certainly not the place to be tonight!
Several Strong stations, but I just could not raise them.

    G4FPH
    Rubbish - awful - dreadful - bad!

    G4HSO
My first time in this contest. Lots of QRM noise.
and difficult to find clear QRG.
    Hard work but enjoyable.
Thanks for all QSOs and the Contest Committee.
Used SD as logger - reliable as usual.

    M0SOX
    band conditions diabolical
    QRM problems
    Easy programme to use

    M0SPC
