Had a bad start...looking for the contest on SSB! Then had trouble getting the computer to key the rig. Eventually got going 25 minutes late.  Ooops...

    G4RCG
1st attempt at this kind of test and found it very strange at 1st but after the 1st 30mins I got into the flow of things and then quite enjoyed it. Think the exchange should be uniform, lots of different ways the exchange was being given which made me slip a few times

    G4ZFE
My first sprint. Good condx and fewer stations were good news for weaker stations like myself. K3 running 100W to trapped Inverted L at 20 feet. Looking foward to the next CW Sprint.

    GM0ELP
Elecraft K3, 100w, 80m Doublet My first sprint event, a bit confusing at the start, but got into the swing of it quickly. Started to enjoy it near the end. Hopefully do better next time now that I've broken my cherry :-) Made me realise how much I have been relying on knowing what was coming next. Thanks to all who worked me.

    GM3POI
Poor Activity and first hour plus was in daylight

    GW0ETF
Enjoyable but a bit of a struggle with low activity, high band noise and seemingly poor propagation from north west Wales.

    M0PTR
    My first SPRINT

    M3ZYN
Lots of activity! SD made light work of the logging!

    M5FUN
Steep learning curve, great fun though. Must improve my concentration span, nearly caught napping several times!

    MU0FAL
Late start but certainly was nice to have a short contest, lots of qrn over the lower signals

    PG7V
Good activity, not much QRN tonight, so it was a pleasure to work a lot of UK stations again!

    SOAPBOX:

    G0IBN
interesting contest, makes you think -i.e. is it my freq or his?

    G3GLL
SD worked ok but I need more practice for this test ! Good contest - bit slow after first hour !

    G3JRM (G4RLS)
interesting evenings entertainment. Enjoyed the format which gave the little grey cells a workout with apologies to those I held up  with my sick paddle

    G3KKP
First sprint contest !  A few wrong keys hit but not too bad for
a rookie. Certainly an interesting variation to contesting. Must
try the next one. SD worked well for me.

    G3KLH
Name is too much to type for me: what is wrong with rst-serial like other RSGB contests?

    G3LIK
Made a nice change to keep changing QRG. A lot of familiar callsigns

    G3OLB
    All a bit strange!

    G3ORY
Slow start to an unfamiliar format. The QSY rule seems a bit quirky. The reason for the difference between 2kHz and 5kHz shift is not obvious to me. More significant is the fact that the shifts are the same for CW and SSB. 2kHz is 4 ch spacings on CW & 1 on ssb. Why not have a single 2kHz shift on CW and 5kHz on ssb? Makes a lot more sense.

    G3RWL
    S.L.O.W.

    G3TKF
Bit slow - not enough stations around

    G3TXF
There's not enough "critical mass" yet to make this sprint concept work properly when there are still relatively so few stations on the band. Let's hope we can get a few more to come on next time!

    G3VQO
I'm still not sure I actually enjoy the Sprint format, but I almost got into the swing of it. I think more activity is needed as I found new stations very scarce in the last 20 minutes or so.

    G3ZGC
I used SD for logging - it's great. Not my favorite contest but still ok. Nice to work some Europeans in this contest

    G3ZRJ
Good turn out for the first of these contests. A few 'old hands' missing who are regulars on CC events. Nice to have a few foreign stations call in. Very few hiccups with QSO format noted. Thanks for organising the sprint good luck with the rest.

    G4ARI
Great fun, good conditions and puts names to calls

    G4BUO
Was ahead of the clock for the first 40 minutes, then it slowed down a lot!

    G4CKH
Operating skills need to be good to get anywhere in this contest, you also need a good memory to know your last operating frequency. After the first hour things slowed down a touch. Thanks to all concerned for another enjoyable evening on the radio.

    G4EBK
Not as busy as expected, couldn't get a flow going.

    CALLSIGN: G4FKA
First ever sprint. Part time accidental entry!

    G4FNL
Great to take part in the first of the (hopefully) regular Sprint contests. Activity was a little down on the usual CC events - but hopefully this will improve over time. It was difficult not to slip into 'autopilot mode' and start sending RST! Thanks to all for QSO's

    G4IRN
Great fun; pity there wasn't more participation, lets hope it grows over time.

    G4OGB
I'll get the hang of this yet. SD worked just fine.
