1^st 50MHz Backpackers Contest of 2007

Nine contestants entered the 1^st 50MHz Backpackers Contest of 2007. Band conditions were excellent with good DX available to all stations.

For the third year running, the 10W Single Operator section was won by Dave Hewitt, GW8ZRE/P. Nigel Ramsey, G6SFP/P filled the runners-up slot.

Steve Hartley, G0FUW/P won the 3W Single Operator section. Clive Warren, MW0VCF/P was the runner-up.

The 3W Multi-operator section was won by the Scarborough Amateur Radio Society, G2CP/P.
