4m UKAC 2007 Results

The 4m UK activity contests take place on the fifth Tuesday in the month. In 2007 this occurred in January, May, July & October.

This year produced a welcome 42% increase in entry level over last year which is the highest since this series of contests started.

For most sessions, conditions were average with a slight lift reported in July although no QSO's were managed outside the UK.

Please note that the scoring for this contest is calculated at 1 point per qso with locator multipliers. A few of the logs received are sent in as points per km scoring. Although this presents no problem for the adjudicator, it can create a little disappointment for an entrant that is expecting to see a much higher score than is finally adjudicated! Generally however, the standard of logging was very good.

Many thanks to G3TCT for checklog & a welcome return to G3TDH who last entered a 4m contest 36 years ago!
