2007 23cm & 13cm UK Activity Contest

A total of 15 stations on 23cm and 4 stations on 13cm competed in the 2007 23cm & 13cm UK Activity Contest (UKAC). As appears to be norm, the number of stations regularly active during these activity periods is much greater than the number of entries (by a factor of 6).

The best session for DX was in December where all but one of the entrants worked stations over 1100km distant.

Overall, the standard of logging was good with very few errors. However, the clock changes between GMT to BST and back again does catch a few people out. All of these logs have been corrected without penalty this year - you may not be so fortunate next year!

Finally, two requests:

Firstly, will the entrants who use the TacLog software please submit their files in REG1TEST format rather than using the TacLog printout format.
And, will stations who enter both the 23cm and 13cm UKAC contests please ensure that the file name for each log contains band information (e.g. G9XYZ23.EDI and G9XYZ13.EDI).
