GDPR (again) & Forwarding Contest Logs (Ian G0FCT - csc.chair@rsgbcc.org)
GDPR includes additional controls on the sharing of information (e.g. forwarding logs by the RSGB Contesting Committees (RSGBCC) to external organisations such as DARC and IARU R1).  Until further notice, logs submitted to the RSGBCC for the following coordinated contests:

    HF CW NFD (2-3 June)
    HF SSB NFD (1-2 September)
    50MHz Trophy (16-17 June)
    144MHz Trophy (1-2 September)
    Oct 432MHz-248GHz (6-7 October)
    144MHz CW Marconi (3-4 November)

will not be forwarded as an entry to the relevant coordinated contest. The RSGBCC rules for these contests now include the URL for the DARC/IARU log submission robot to enable entrants to submit their logs direct to DARC (for HF contests) or to the IARU R1 (for VHF and Up contests).

Change of Rules for notifying Remote Location Address (by Ian G0FCT - csc.chair@rsgbcc.org)
In RSGB HF contests, remote operation of a station is allowed where the operator is situated within the same country on the DXCC list.  Additionally an operator's home station, as shown in the licensee's licence documents, may be remotely operated from a location in another country.

When remote operation is conducted, the address of the operator and the address of the station must be included in the log.

During log submission, the address of the operator must be included on the 'Station Information' page (this page is also known as the 'Cover Sheet' page) in the box titled 'Address of Operator when operating Remote from Station Address'. The address of the station must be included in the Cabrillo header 'ADDRESS:' box. Please note that the 'ADDRESS' box in a Cabrillo log automatically populates the 'Address' Lines 1 to 4 and the 'PostCode' boxes on the 'Station Information' page.
